Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Liza began performing at a young age and by high school graduation had performed leading roles in over 25 plays and musicals, as well as directed and choreographed various productions.

After graduating from high school, Liza moved to New York to attend the Musical Theater Program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  In addition to numerous other film and television roles, some of Liza’s favorites include playing Yolanda in nine episodes of MTV’s Undressed, a homebuyer on Comedy Central’s Dave Chappelle Show, and interviewing the star casts of Fantastic 4, Dark Water, and A Lot Like Love for Good Day Sacramento.  Most recently, Liza played the part of Dean Winchester in Counteragent Films’ Supernatural: The Other Side.

Liza has performed in various theater productions in New York, including leading roles in six shows with Narrow Journey Productions, an Off-Broadway Equity Theater group. She performed the leading role of “Daily” in their Discordant Duets featured in The New York International Fringe Festival. Ensemble roles include The American Dream and Other Fractured Fairytales by Streetlight Productions.

Liza has received various awards for dance and competed individually to earn the title of World Dance Association National Champion.

Liza is currently enrolled at Columbia University where she is studying psychology. In addition to acting, Liza works as a Senior Research Assistant for the Higgins Lab at Columbia University’s Graduate Business School and Research Assistant at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.  At 12, Liza St. John won a nation-wide contest and became the published author of Abby’s Wish, which later received Children’s Choice Award.
